Devon DeWitt (Meghann Fahy) travels to visit her younger sister Simone (Milly Alcock) on Labor Day weekend, but discovers that the young woman has a really unhealthy relationship with her new boss, Michaela (Julianne Moore), who lives a cult-like existence at her estate with her husband (Kevin Bacon) and numerous followers.
