Final Destination: Bloodlines takes top spot at weekend box office
The new horror film Final Destination: Bloodlines, the sixth installment in the franchise, took over the top spot this weekend, debuting with a respectable take of $51 million.

In its third weekend, Thunderbolts* dropped a spot to second, earning an additional $16.5 million for a three-week total of $155.4 million. Click here to read our review.

Sinners starring Michael B. Jordan as twin brothers dropped to third, bringing in an additional $15.4 million for a five-week total of $240.8 million.

A Minecraft Movie starring Jason Momoa wound up in fourth place, adding another $5.9 million to the pot for a six-week total of $416.6 million.

Rounding out the top five was The Accountant 2 starring Ben Affleck, which earned an extra $5 million, bringing its four-week total to $59 million.
